1999 Kwikee steps

I have a 1999 37 foot Diesel Riata motor home and it has been sitting in the barn for a few months. About a month ago I noticed the steps would not come in when I turned on the key. I had my son kick the steps and they worked. Now they have quit coming in and I would like some suggestions as to what could be the problem. I know they could use a lubricating, but they seem to work if I could do some simple thing to get them working again. I don't think it is something drastic. I would appreciate it if you all could send me in simple suggestions that I could work on. Thank you very much in advance. Gary

Buy a new motor at any parts store for about $40. Its a ford pass side window motor.

Individual Parts are no longer available for a 1999. What you have to do is install a Kwikee Conversion kit. Any other attempt at replacing the motor or the control module individually will just waste money. Just click the link. Doug
