Someone on this forum recently linked to this deal on sunelec.com, so I have been checking this out. It's four 125w solar panels for $216 total (4 panel order minimum, $54 each). Here is the web page with the product: Clicky I put the products in the cart and plugged in my location data (across the country from FL, BTW), and it shows 13.20 lbs and $29 shipping, supposedly for all 4 panels. I copied and pasted that shopping cart below. I haven't called the company yet, but surely there is an error on shipping, as in the specs for the panels, it shows a weight of 12.0kg ea, which sounds about right. Still even if the actual shipping cost ends up being more what one would expect, it seems like it might be a very good deal for 12V panels. Scroll down the web page to find the link for the specs for the panels. Could some of our resident solar experts on this forum please check out this product for this price and comment? Even 120 dollars shipping is great from my package delivery place to Corona round trip for Will-Call panels will cost me fifty dollars minimum in gasoline.I wonder if they work...

Seems like a good deal, especially on the shipping. 60 inches by 28 inches, does that seem a bit big for a 100 watt panel?

I would call Sun and ask about the quality of those modules. The low mechanical load rating along with the higher electrical characteristics of the 36 cells sends a bad vibe, to me.

My Russian pal? LOL! I only bought the controller, no panels yet. Kind of waiting for a deal. I thought I had one for a minute there. Actually, I was a day away from buying panels when the radiator fan went out on my car. Guess what cost the exact same amount of money as the panels?

Sunelec's website does have specs. And who cares if Google shows it out of stock. It shows in stock on sunelec.

returns sunelec link with NOT in stock

SunElec website DOES provide the specs:
Scroll down on the page with the solar panels, HERE
Then click 'Datasheets' tab, then 'Specification Sheet' & full specs will pop up.

I've run into that with a lot of the almost too good to be true prices on controllers, etc. Great as long as everything goes well but need something after the sale and you are SOL.
