5th wheel front landing gear motor

Had the front compartment open on the fiver the other day and hit the raise side of the front landing gear. The motor moved up and down just a bit and that surprised me to see it move. I am wondering if they all have some give to them on the mounts so they are not rigid. The mounting bolts all seem tight. Just curious.
Thanks,

Yes as others said, the motors just have an anti-rotation limit, not a hard fixed mount. Makes it all a bit self-aligning with the shaft.

However, keep an eye on it, because that gearmotor is likely just plastic and the OEM version often ends up breaking. That lets the gearmotor over rotate, which at best jams the rotation, and at worst rips wiring loose. I have replaced mine with an all aluminum body gearmotor which is readily available.

Thanks so much for the reply. I was a little worried that it would jam or something.

Mine moves also. I think of it as a shock absorbing system so the gears don't abruptly bash together when changing directions.
