5th wheel jacks not working

I've got a 2008 Komfort Trailblazer 5'er. Went to move it today and the landing gear won't raise or lower. Power is fine because the slides work and even with it plugged into the truck no dice.

My first thought was fuse but the only fuse panel I can find is inside the trailer and is for all interior stuff.

Any suggestions on where to look for fuses and/or if this could be something else would be greatly appreciated.

Trailer has been in front of my house for like a month because I was having the tranny rebuilt on the truck. Truck is finally back and I'm getting notices from the city to move it or they will tow it.
  • As others have stated, the in-line fuse would be in the battery compartment. Ours is in a bright yellow plastic fuse holder.

This fuse can blow if the legs are retracted or extended too far sometimes.
  • Our 2003 year Komfort has a twist open fuse holder with a glass fuse in it on the jack motor wire.

We also got a manual jack handle to work the jacks if the electric fails

Since it quit after last parking it there should be nothing happened to blow the fuse though. Did you monkey with the battery connections?
Has something wrapped itself around the cross-rod that turns the jacks on the other side? Must be something happened.
  • My landing gear uses a 'dc circuit breaker/relay' that is in-line on positive wire from battery to motor

  • As above, miny is in a small black plastic fuse holder in a wire in the front compartment.
  • There usually is an inline fuse inside the storage compartment near the jack motor. Check that first. And you might want to replace it with an automotive delay fuse. They seem to work a little better.
