5th wheel slide issue

While putting slide in one of the chairs got hung up in the corner. This knocked slide out of alignment causing a knocking sound while moving slide. It has an electric gear and cog track system. To try and fix I disconnected one side and realigned room. However whenever I go in or out the cogs miss and makes the knocking noise....appears some of cog's edges have rounded off a little....is this enough to slip and get out of alignment. If so how hard to replace? Or could it be something else causing my problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
