ac going on and off
my roof ac will go on and off only with generator on and engine running have a confort zc thermostat that I have replaced also installed a chock kit on it have no light on the inside when this happens...

you have a voltage problem on the 12v control circuits
generator on for A/C, converter is on and charging batteries
engine running alternator is also charging batteries
im guessing you have a higher voltage alternator than usual
try un-plugging the converter, flipping off the CB for the converter
this might reduce the 12v circuit voltage enough for things to operate normal
if not you need to look into this voltage situation
