add leveling jacks to class c?

Hi,

Has anyone added powered leveling jacks to a class c? If so what was the cost.
  • I had Bigfoot levelers added to my Concord in Lakeland, FL at a shop that does 5 or 6 sets weekly in June. Cost was $3800. I got the set with the remote. There is a cheaper set that has a hard wired actuator and a more expensive set that is fully automatic. Bigfoot makes them specifically for Class Cs. I used them on several occasions and they are fantastic.

I chose Bigfoot over the HWH because they do not use springs to retract and they do not take up a compartment for the pump, etc. They are retracted hydraulicly and the pump unit is located under the coach inside the frame.

Check the Bigfoot website and give them a call. I really like the remote as I can stand outside and make sure the jacks are properly extended and place wood pads if needed.

There is no way I would hane a MH without a leveling system.

    Hi,

I already have air bags at the rear. Could I simply add air bags at the front with a small compressor?

Might want to ck this out R airbags should'nt be stretched out if u go with jacks
  • I added Bigfoot jacks to my Lazy Daze 26.5 at the factory in Michigan. Around $4600 well spent .

  • A lot of Sprinter chassis owners have added hydraulic HWH jacks. I believe the cost is in the $5k ballpark, and the preferred option is to have them installed at the HWH factory in Iowa. Those with the factory install seem happy with it, some with field installs have had problems. The Sprinter-specific levelers are on the higher end of the cost curve. There's at least one other company that makes electric jacks, they don't cost quite as much.
