Air Bags

Our mh has air bags on the rear axle. I'd like to be able to monitor the pressure in them. Would a pair of tire pressure monitors, the type that just screw on the tire stems, work OK screwed to the air bags fill stems?

Thanks,
Dusty
  • Only thing to check would be if they will pick up and report at the pressures you run for the bags.

MH is obviously different but in a pickup scenario, if you are running empty and drop the pressure to 5-10psi, are they calibrated to report that low.
  • You should monitor airbag pressure. Most suggest at least a “minimum” pressure. Ten pounds for mine.
