Air Dump Valve issues

I have isolated an air leak to the NORGREEN Valve assembly A16-18694-000 and see that the leak is between the right electronic actuator and the main frame. Does anyone know if the C ring lock can be removed to rebuild the valve? It sure looks like it is possible.

Thanks for the info, I read somewhere on another valve that separation was possible but it described a special O ring for repairs. I'm going to get a new on from a place in PA at around $506 and THEN ATTEMPT TO CHECK OUT THE OLD ONE FOR REPAIRS SO I HAVE A SPARE. The valve is located right between the front wheels where all the mud and dust gets turned up.

Richard,

According to Norgren that is a Freightliner special part. Looking at it, I would bet the the Cclip that hold the solenoid on can be removed, but I would not bet that the valve can be rebuilt.

For a lot of years Norgren was our bottom bidder and a reliable supplier. I never saw the warranty part, but if it had been serious i would have heard about it.
