All my GFCI outlets are dead.

So totally new to RV's, but my 2018 Holiday Rambler Vesta's GFCI outlets are all dead on inverter power. On shore or generator power, they all work. Thought well there must be a sub panel for the inverter but there isn't. Any outlets that aren't GFCI work fine on the inverter alone. So all sockets work on the gen, shore, but the GFCI's are off on inverter power. This shouldn't be rocket science lol! Ideas?

You would think they wouldn't miss all the easy to access plugs like on the counters for things like phone charging! Don't really think the generator is necessary to charge up the iPhone. D'oh, I should be able to figure this out...

Unless you have a huge rig with a whole house inverter, my experience is that the inverter only powers the entertainment system, things like the televisions, DVD/BluRay, etc. I know in my Airstream the 1000 watt inverter only powers 3 outlets, the television (I only have one), the BluRay player, and an outlet under the dinette for anything else I want.

You can charge a phone more efficiently with a 12v or USB charger.

How big is the inverter

Less than 1000 watt is normally TV/Electronics only
2000 adds Microwave and possibly GFCI

Inverter may have one or two push to reset circuit breakers or
Switch to reset (Some of these the Tripped and OFF positions are identical. IE: Tripp Light (Also Onan Generators)

Or it feeds a "Sub" panel of breakers somewhere in the RV

THough in my case the GFCI goes through the inverter no matter if the inverter is powering them or not (it does pass through) so none of this would apply

IN your case I'm guessing there is a multi-pole Auto Transfer switch somewhere nad it's the stinker or one breaker on the inverter is.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

My guess is you have a 50A rig and the inverter only powers one leg of the panel.

Maybe make a list of what outlets work on inverter power. Then on shore power turn off breakers one at a time and see if a breaker or two powers only the outlets on the list.

I need a wiring diagram of this mess lol! Got my 120v coming out of the inverter, but where it goes from there is a mystery. Seems to supply plugs for things like the 2 indoor and 1 outdoor TV, external sound system, wifi stuff and few others. All difficult to access plugs and none GFI. You would think they wouldn't miss all the easy to access plugs like on the counters for things like phone charging! Don't really think the generator is necessary to charge up the iPhone. Only one of my outlets are on the inverter.
My GFCI outlets only work on shore power?

check the inverter, your panel and GFI duplexes for resets.
GFIs can be really sensitive, they measure milliamps.

Maybe they aren't wired to the inverter. It wouldn't be the first time that only some outlets have inverter power.

the invert has a GFI reset.

Your inverter probably has its own transfer switch. Check the breakers and GFCI on the inverter.p

Good idea, but as soon as I switch to shore or gen they work without having to reset them.

Sine wave inverter? Non sine wave trips my computer UPS so I guess it may do the same to GFCI
