  • Bought a few of these on E Bay for less than $5.

Nice night light too and I use one in my homemade pedestal checker before hooking up

  • Ah,my bathroom night light. Could someone source a frequency meter in similar fashion?

None of my DC VOLTMETERS have a built-in settable alarm to tell me when I am approaching 12.0VDC (appx 50% charge state mode)... Makes me have to keep an eye on it...

It will likely outlast the owner. No annoying Sci-Fi blue screen either.

And - yep, you need a solar to keep an eye on those 12V things for you. But you already know this :)
  • I've had one for years too. I love it. Use it in the house too and also when on generator backup power to make sure both legs of the service are even.

    Yes, a great night light.

In typical Amazon fashion, the dimensions given are for the packaging, not the actual product. The meter case is 2.125" x 1.5" x 1.0", plus the plug prongs. The display is 1.625" x 0.875", with 0.75" numerals.

My RV 120VAC VOLTMETER that plugs into a 120VAC receptacle is analog and is still working - guess I'm still good...

LATE NOTE: I just looked up the DROK meter DM 55-1 specs and it says the dimensions are 55mm x 41mm x 26mm thats 2.1 x 1.6 x 1.0 inches Thats more like it based on whatever the orange thing is it is plugged into in the photo.... AMAZON must have a misprint...

  • I have the same one in both my TC and TT. I used the pot in the PCB to calibrate it to my Fluke 87... within 1V or less.
Nice, simple, little unit. Plenty accurate too... and it even makes a decent nightlight :)

  • I have one. Works great. If you want to adjust it to match, say a quality multi-meter reading there is an adjustment screw inside in the upper right corner...

If display voltage is too high, adjust potentiometer in counter-clockwise

If display voltage is too low, adjust potentiometer in clockwise
  • Clicky

I've had one connected in my motorhome for several years now. It read about 3 volts low when I first got it, but adjusting the calibration pot took care of that easily enough. The plug is non-polorized, so it can be plugged in either way.
