Another Megawatt Upgrade Want To Post Article

Pictures and text.

Is there an easy to use upload service that can retain a created article? The upgrade article would include the entire process divided into chapters.

Easy disassembly & reassembly

How to choose, buy and install a voltage adjustment potentiometer

If needed, how to replace the weakest components (caps and rectifiers) in the Megawatt. This turns the Megawatt into one tough charger.

These things are not nerd techhie grade mods. If you can handle a cheap 15 watt soldering pencil, you can do this stuff so easy it hurts.

But I need a kindergartener's grade upload site to start the process.

Any ideas?

Thank You

MS Word allows you to export as Rich Text, which pretty much EVERYONE can read.

If you were using one of the FREE word processors like Libre Office Writer, you could even export it as a PDF !

If you want some assistance in getting your document "published" contact me.

There is no requirement to load Google Drive on your PC ! They might make you think there is, but you can always just go to the web interface ( https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive ) AFTER you have authenticated yourself on Google.

Upload, download, change permissions, what ever you want.

Jeezo.

Threaded, one way and screwed the other...

I can't even offer to send a particular Microsoft Word file to an email address because not everyone can read MW.

Stuff like this gets my goat. The great technological age (Growl Snap). Buzzwords and hyperbole (snivel, whimper).

Thanks Naio.
Upon my retirement a 386 computer and DOS was the hot setup. My interest subsequently has lagged far behind the times. Now I can see why.

FYI, google drive uses an enormous amount of ram, even for plain text, and takes a long long time to load. I would suggest you try and see if its use of resources is compatible with your setup before putting a lot of effort into it.

It's like pdf files, in that it is at least theoretically accessible to people on any platform, but is a huge resource hog.

Another tweak upgrade. This addresses the whining about the 10-turn potentiometer.

This is a Bournes 3-turn 500 ohm pot available on e-Bay

Also, FWIW, http://google.com.mx *might* work better for you- not really sure. That pic is one I had on my Google drive- I posted that on my chromebook, which doesn't have any pics stored on it.

I have used Google Drive (just the back end storage for Google Docs) for awhile. It works, but it is not the most "user friendly" way of sharing a document.

You can embed images from your Google Docs/Drive, but again, not user friendly.

I am going to heavy-duty examine each suggestion. Anyone can access Google Docs with a correct link to URL?

And THANK YOU Mr. Bryant!
