If not under a sink, it is probably inside a wall. Mine was in the shower wall between the shower and my entry closet. If you can see under the shower (in your basement?) and see 4 water pipes going up thru the floor, then that is the location. Shower only needs 2 pipes. Or maybe see 2 pipes going up where there is nothing above that area that uses water.
