I got an education on this subject awhile back and some will disagree. The drum not only works in conjunction with the shoes it also works in conjunction with the magnet that is on the side of the drum. If you turn the drum for the new shoes you should to turn the side of the drum for the magnet. Try to find a shop that does both and if you do the price will be close to the same as new ones.
