Atwood water heater does not work on elect

Help! I have a 2012 Chateau with an Atwood water heater that is either electric or propane. On my panel the red light no longer comes on if I select electric mode. Same with Propane however it is actually working with propane as I can hear it and the water gets hot.

Any suggestions or has someone had the same problem?

Those are just lighted switches- I would bet the ground for the lights is bad.

Haven't had the problem but if it was mine I would check the fuses first then check that the wires didn't fall off the heater element then take off the wires and check the resistance between the connections of the heater element that is inside the water heater for electric operation. If there is NO resistance between the leads the element needs to be replaced.

check your breaker in the main panel.
