Worked OK on propane but didn't work on electric........ :H
Well the 'tech' didn't reset the t-stats cause there is only one set of t-stats for that Atwood.
There is NO 'reset' button.
There is also no need to unplug board to reset.
'Tech' did one of 2 things:
1) Reset the AC circuit breaker for the electric element---turned it OFF then back ON
OR
2) Reset by turn the ON/OFF switch for electric operation on panel OFF. IF electric or gas 'fault' you reset by turning the switch OFF (then back on to restart)
The 'tech' was trying to make it sound like he really dug into problem and solved it...........bet he didn't tell you why it had to be 'reset'
NOW there is a 'resettable' ECO (high temp t-stat) that is available aftermarket. It has a 'reset' button on it so it can be manually reset if it trips. But if it trips it must be manually reset or neither electric or propane will operate.
OEM ECO& normal t-stats auto reset after opening when WH tank temp drops below roughly 110*F.
