- TrackrigExplorer IIAdd water to it so it's half full or a little more and then go take it for a drive with lots of braking and corners so the water sloshes it all loose and then dump it again.
Bill - DiskDoctrExplorerWe've read that adding a little dishwashing detergent helps things slide out the pipe ;)

This is where I would start - jplante4Explorer IINo mention of your rig, but if it's fairly new, the punch outs for the tank penetrations could still be in the tank and one managed to work it's way into the outlet. The fill it up and drive around will solve this temporarily, but the next time it's empty, beg, borrow or steal a boroscope and have a look around.
- Colo_NativeExplorerYou could try a bag of ice and drive around while it melts heard that work. I have not tried myself
- John_JoeyExplorerVery possible your black tank valve is stuck closed or you have a blockage in front of it. Best to call the RV service place and let them do that job. They will tell you if your valve is good and if it is they have a tool that will blast the blockage out. Most of the time it is just a length of PEX with a shut off valve on it.
- The_KunkelsExplorerThe tt is stationary. 35' Hornet Keystone.

- MitchF150Explorer IIIWhat do you mean by "pump out"??
Don't you just hook the hose to it and open the valve and gravity takes over??
If you've just left it open the whole time you've been stationary, then it's just full of solids and that's your problem??
With an RV tank, you are supposed to keep the valve closed until it's full, and then open the valve. The liquid in the tank is what moves the solids out.
If your solids are now dry... Well, you'll have to fill it up with water and let is soak for a bit.. Open the valve and see what comes out or not..
It ain't like a home sewer or even a home septic tank...
Good luck!
Mitch - The_KunkelsExplorerThe campground has a septic truck that emptys all the tt's. No sewers in the ground.
