blackmax 3000 w generator with Honda engine
saw this unit at Sam's club for $399. looked it up on line and didn't see the noise level. the blurb did say "quiet"? :) bumpy

Bumpy-I suspect the problem with mine is the generator portion-perhaps the winding?-and that the generator portion is unable to deliver the required voltage.
