Calling all 07 Discovery 39V (Full Slide) owners

Just purchased said coach. Boy she's a beauty! Driving back home, Tx to NH and all is well! Do have some questions about the interior & exterior. Doing a lot of driving so I really don't have time to tear into the issues at the moment.

My 1st diesel coach was the 1993 Pace Arrow Diesel pusher with the 250 Cummins. Owned it for about 10 years now. Been a great coach & will have a hard time letting her go. I'm a DIY guy that does about 95% of the work needed.

Water system on Discovery
When I took ownership it had zero water in the tank. I filled the tank about 3/4 full. Found that only toilet was flushing, dribbles at Kitchen & bedroom sink. Pulled the airators on the faucets and found BOTH plugged with some funky gray stuff! Been trying to flush the "pink stuff" out of the system. Almost thinking they filled the frekin water heater! I found the bypass valve in the proper "in use" setting, NOT bypass. I did pull the water filter cartridge in the dump valve area, Looked pretty funky.
I put the housing back on w/o filter, After flushing all the pink out I'm going to do the bleach treatment procedure & after all said & done replace the filter.
Still no time to locate the pump to check the intake screen. I'm thinking of finding a site this evening with full hookups so I can flush the tanks. Prob. in CT somewhere this evening.

Looks like the small exterior weather stripping on the full slide needs tended to, might need to order a replacement. Exterior pain & such is pristine, looks like the slide topper covers need a good cleaning & repainting with black paint.

The spot light, Stated in one of the manuals it was remote control, Need to dig for remote but was wondering, no buttons for it around the dash. Remote only?

Still unable to locate table leaf, It "might" be in one of the basements.

Interior looks like it was NEVER lived in. Nice shape. Just need to sort out cables & such for entertainment. TracVision dome is "in-motion" model, looks to have been setup for Dish, found a dish remote & some Dish paperwork. Will have to figure out how to switch over to DirecTv, have My box from my original MoHo. Might be another post.

Water closet with shower.
Appears to be no light in the shower itself. Has the skylite but no light. It does have what looks like a florescent battery operated light on the shower wall (double sided tape). Fleetwood put a light in the shower?
Wall switches for waterpump, fan and ONE light switch that turns on a lighted brab bar and some lights on the floor where you step up to the queen bed. Looks like some of the bulbs are burnt out so I guess I'll be trying to figure out how to repair.

Lights above the bed headboard and across the front of the closet on the ceiling, not the reading/mood lights on the back wall/headboard. These lights, can't figure out how to turn on.

The bed itself, sleep number queen mattress. Looks like the brackets for the lift gas shocks pulled out of the bottom of the hinged bed board. Might have to thru bolt.

Is their a hatch to the engine compartment in the back?

Has the vented washer dryer, Any tips on this unit? Should I pull it & inspect the backside? Don't want a hose or something to fail when testing.

Looking at the dresser across from the bed. The end next to the window, has some kind of board affived with a notch for the outlet. Not sure what that's for & also found a similar board, tad longer with the same looking notch in the closet. Not sure the purpose of these boards.

Fargin windows ALL appear to be de-gassed!!! Are you kidding me? 7 years old & the Fargin windows toast? Not too bad but I WILL have to replace the drivers side window, It's tough to see a real clear view thru rear-view. Safety hazard Eh? Is Dometic the manufacture? Will I be pissin in the wind trying to get replaced? Any other options?

Drivers side rear view shakes, Looks like thru bolts need tightened, actually replaced, exterior of the bolts rusty. Not sure if I can get to the backside to tighten.

Have the 320HP CAT, Pace Arrow had the Cummins 8.3l 250HP. CAT running like a sewing machine! 1st time CAT owner. Any tips? Should prob. do a full oil Diesel filter change. 20K on the odometer.

Looks like the coach just sat for a couple years, just needs driven & some TLC

Only pressing issue....Passenger wet hub seal leaking, Backing plate wet. Had the dealership dowse with degreaser & power wash. Filled to level & checking/adding at each fuel stop. No pulling while braking and I do check temp EVERY time we take a brake. So far so good. Will be replacing the seal very soon!
