Can someone identify this gfci connector?

I have been researching adding a gfci outlet to my freedom 1200 inverter. The oem gfci outlet purchaded as accesory comes with a prewired connector in the photos. My inverter has ac outlet wires but not the prewired connector as do some freedom inverters. I know i can clip and connect but thought if i could find matching plug it would be simpler to add plug on inverter side.

Aren't the wires just under screws on the GFCI? Just use new wire if so.

After searching moles connectors I'm thinking you are correct

Cut it off and wire nut to the leads in the RV. It is indeed a MOLEX but there are about a million different Molex so finding a match.. Pure luck.

  • Can they be released from the old one? It looks like there is a cover over the end at the outlet.
  • You need the male end...it's going to be hard to match unless in the instructions that came with the gfi there is some info.

Maybe call the company that made the gfi and see of they can direct you..

As you said, easiest is to cut and strip and use easily available connectors like wire nuts or butt connectors...

I found this, .......terminal socket >>>LINK

    Good luck with it.
  • That looks like a Molex MLX. I bought a kit. If you just want to buy a single connector you can probably sort it out with a little effort.
