Can you recommend a wireless TV earphone for late night use

One that works at home or in the RV.

DW likes to watch TV in the bedroom (RV or home) while I am trying to sleep. I know they are out there for gaming, etc., but she would like something simple with ear buds. Need volume control or a remote, I guess.

Anyone have this type unit?

Thank you
Noel

I have had good luck with these. Buy two or more as they are inexpensive. The transmitter plugs into an audio jack. So you have to have an audio out jack on your TV.

TV ears use infrared "line of sight" signaling which may be hard to maintain in bed. If you're cheap, like me, Harbor Freight sells these headphones. They work well for me, but you have to keep fresh batteries around.

One thing to know before purchasing. This pertains only if you have a "wireless" internet / modem either at home or in the RV, want "wireless" headphones & intend on "streaming" any video content while using them. If you happen to do any video streaming like NetFlix, Hulu or otherwise through an enabled BluRay or other device, know what the operating frequency is for the modem & avoid buying any headphones that operate on the same frequency, they won't work for you. This happened with me, I wanted some wireless phones for the same reason you do, they worked fine when viewing regular tv channels but if I attempted to stream they wouldn't work.
I'm an expert in only one field....I believe it's somewhere in Kansas.

TV Ears - available all over. Do a search. We bought my mother a set at Costco for $50 several years ago. But, they appear to be more expensive today.
