Some boards just blink. When there is a problem, then the blinking might be one long blink followed by several short blinks. Or two long and 1-6 short. Something like that will be de-coded in the repair manual.
Some might be as easy as blocked drain line, or high pressure, or something like that. You can prevent high pressure from tripping by washing the outdoor coil with a garden hose once a year or so.
