Coleman 15K HP2 Replacement
I am replacing my current AC which has stopped working. The model is a Coleman 15k HP2 and for the ease of replacement I am planning to put the same model back in.
My unit is ducted but the odd thing that I have noticed is that there is no interior ceiling assembly. There are separate returns on the ceiling a few feet from the installation.
I think typically a unit goes through the ceiling and is tightened down from inside the RV to compress the seal.
Does anyone have any experience with an installation like mine where the unit does NOT come through the ceiling? Is the removal of the old unit and installation of the new pretty straightforward?
