I'm a full timer and when I call to have DISH change my "service Area" 8 times out of 10 they end up screwing with my billing address and then I have issues. I end up having to call a 2nd time! Their overseas support team still have some learning.

But you say you just hooked up power to the RV. However if using a tailgator or similar antenna that item was probably not on line when you connected the power. Saves the phone call.
