Domestic fridge help

Now I am having trouble keeping the temp down..it is 100 degrees here and the reefer is at 57..not good I am thinking..I have put a fan back there to help move the hot air up and out..I checked the electric rod in back and it seems to be working well. However, it would not fire on propane,one attempt and it quit trying..hopefully temp will go down once the ambient temp drops..Any ideas are appreciated..The little plastic thing on the inside coils is all way up,is that where it should be??
