I asked them this very question.... Below is the response I got back -
"Good morning Joe,
Great question. The short answer is that the white layflat is not considered a “potable water” hose. That being said, we have had customers completely use a layflat hose for this application and never have any issues. One thing we recommend is using a TPU lined hose instead of the black EPDM rubber lined. The reason being is that potable water hoses use the TPU anyway.
