Fridge Roof Fan?

The Valterra vent fan I installed couple years ago died, so I'm gonna install a 120mm cpu case fan. What cfm do I need and do I need one with thermistor or just standard. I still have the thermal button installed on the lower coil to control the fan. I'll probably install a manual switch for extra control. Do I need a thermal for the roof vent where the fans will be installed? Just looking for recommendations before I start this mod.

    Not sure why you would need all that control over the fan. Why not just let it run? Is the fridge ever going to be too cold?

    I just installed 3 of these, ganging them together and hanging them @ 2" above the fins. Looking at the space I couldn't see how a single 120mm fan would actually move a column of air thru the vent shaft instead of just circulating the air at the top of the shaft.

    Sun comes up, fans turn on. Doesn't make the fridge, Norcold N641, significantly cooler but it's better than nothing.
