- gunny357ExplorerDepends on a whole lot of other factors.
How heavy is the generator, how far from the axle is it being the first two. Think leverage. - Ron3rdExplorer IIIThough not recommended, I've seen it done by good fabricators. Get yourself a small inverter generator that can be carried in the back of your truck or inside the trailer.
- samsontdogExplorerI would not put bikes on the back of RV much less a pricy generator
- eHoeflerExplorer IIYou would be removing some weight from the tongue, how much is unknown without some measurements and weights. The weight removed from the tongue can be as much as the weight of the generator and shelf it sits on. All this weight will go on the axles, depending on how close you are to your capacity on the axles, you can overload them.
- 2oldmanExplorer IIYes. No, but it would bounce a lot.
