To me, I would rather have more capacity per battery since I don't need a spill proof battery, vibration resistance or even worrying about super high discharge/recharge curves..
Put it another way, I could buy SIX FLA GC2s for about the same price of FOUR GC2 AGMs..
Yah, depending on the persons needs you would have to weight that out. However, if you are a large solar user I would consider giving up some capacity for the charging characteristics of the AGMS not to mention maintenance free. Always a trade off but in our case it would be worth it.
