Golf cart batteries
Has anyone tried regular deep cycle batteries in a golf cart, 48v.

- They would work just fine but hooked up in a 12volt configuration.
- I have a 48 volt golf cart (1998 Club Car), that runs just fine on 6, 8 volt batteries. Some of the newer models now come with 4, 12 volt batts. A deep cycle is a deep cycle regardless of the voltage.
