The best alkaline batteries for the price are Rayovac. Far cheaper than Duracell or Energizer, lasts just as long.
May be cheaper but I won't use another one as they leak. Ruined a flashlight I had for years. Bought a new Rayovac flashlight and within months their batteries showed signs of leakage. Only use Duracell now as I have never had a leaker.
In over 20 years of using Rayovac batteries, the only one's that have ever leaked on me were the one's I left in a device over the winter. And every battery brand leaks after a long period. I hope you wrote a nasty-gram to Rayovac about it. I would have.
