Again my daughter brought this TT..and the guy she brought it from had a propane heater inside. She asked why..and he said one time he turned it on and it started smoking..Does that sound like a short...

Most times aux heaters are added because the forced air heaters are so inefficient,....burn lots of propane. If electric is available, the forced air is usually not used at all.
Myself, I never use the forced air,....I rely strictly on 2 added Olympian catalytic propane heaters. They work well if humidity is not real hi.
