heater

Can the olympian wave 8 catalytic safety heater be permanently intalled to the original propane plumbing? How would it be done or should i let a professional do the insall.
  • Yes, I plumbed 2 wave 3s into 3 different RVs. You are working w/ very low pressure. I do it all w/ 1/4" fuel hose, much easier than rigid tubing, and I believe safer.
I won't give details on this forum.

No. The Extend-a-Stay works on the high pressure side of the system and you do not want to plumb high pressure LP into your RV. You can tee off from another appliance such as stove, fridge, or water heater.

Yes it can. I did that install myself but I worked on RVs for many years.
Have someone do it for you if you are not familiar with propane tubing, flaring tools and leak checking a gas system.
I have heard that wave sales a installation kit that they put together that doesnt require any slicing.Have you heard of this kit?I f you have heard about it,Can you tell me how it works?
