Help with fridge

Give it 12 to 24 hours.

Will tge fridge not work if the camper is not level. The camper is at a 10 degree slope

10 degrees is not good. If you disconnect the tiedowns, you should be able to use the jacks to level that much pretty quickly. I'm assuming you didn't bring blocks or boards of any kind.

Electric heat element when functioning properly generate temps roughly around 328*F

Propane flame when burning properly generate temps roughly around 350*F

As for the off level......

NOT good for fridge and will definitively affect cooling...adversely!
Gravity flow is disrupted/prevented...overheating of coolant occurs causing plating out/blockages.
Damage is accumulative and permanent

Level or don't operate fridge

Didn't know it had to be level, it's our first camper with a assessable fridge, our tent trailer we never turned on at home. Will having it run bypassed for 4hrs destroyed anything? I it's just in my driveway so I'll get it level and try again

I plan to level it tomorrow and try again, I have it unplugged now so hopefully I didn't cause any permanent damage

make sure your battery is charged weather on shore power or not you have to have a good battery. start all over level or close ,,turn propane tank on slow ,light stove to clear the lines of air, minute or two will do, put a thermonitor in freezer turn on frig wait 5hrs, check thermon in freezer if lowering let sit five more hrs should be froze. I put a cup of water in mine. it does take apprx 12hrs to get really cold.

Try it again ater you level the camper and let it sit for at least a few hours. If you don't notice any cooling on the back wall of the freezer after about 90 minutes, I would turn it back off until you "burp" it. During the time it was on, it could develop a gas bubble which would prevent proper draining. This is done by removing the unit, turning it upside down for 24 hours, turning it back side up right and waiting another 24 hours before turning it back on. You can reinstall during this upright wait period or leave it on the dinette table and run on 110.

An alternative to burping, is take it for a couple hour drive on backroads where the movement and rocking motion may resolve the issue but not as guarenteed.

In regards to it not working on 110V or LP, since the unit has a control board, it requires 12V to operate in both of these mods. So make sure your battery is charged/connected and you have 12V power to the control board.

+2 An ammonia fridge will not work with the heater bypassed (110 volt) it must have the control board working to work.

You don't say how old the camper is. Older Norcold's had some board issues.

Must be level within 1/2 bubble on a carpenters level (or better).

Remove the cover on the board and check the fuses first, check your fuses on the converter panel as well.

Really nothing to fail as far as the refrigeration unit is concerned other than leaking and if it is leaking, you'll smell the ammonia and see the yellow traces of the sulfur solution on the backside. If you have that, it's cooling unit time. They very seldom spring a leak.

Cool down from ambient takes at least 24 hours. Sometimes less depending on thermal efficiency (heat transfer from the rear mounted condenser to the ambient air flow).

10 degrees out of plumb is way too much inclination.
