Honda 2000: surprisingly poor oil fill tube design

I keep my drain pan handy, pour in what looks like enough new oil, tip er back level if any overage I drain it inta the pan. I package the wasteoil forproper disposal then clean up the drain pan and sneak it back inta the kitchen.
