Your generator has a low oil level warning system on it that will shut the engine down before it reaches an unsafe level.

Ditto use a dawn dish soap bottle put a piece of duct tape even with 13.5 ounce level
funnel. I stuff a few paper towels inside the filler an case tip it over and let it drain in a towel on a flat baking dish
No need to check the level
