Honda 6500 Wireless Remote Starter Fried

The wireless remote starter on the Honda generator quit working and I had a chance to take a look at it this afternoon. Took the cover off of the unit that houses the electronics and found the board itself had gotten some moisture and was fried. You could see where it was burned in a couple spots. So I called the Honda Generator dealers within 150 miles and the nearest 2 CW stores and they all said they would have to order a new remote start kit. No one had one in stock. We are on the road and I didn't mind driving a ways to get one but I didn't really want to set in one spot long enough for an ordered one to come in. Oh well...we'll be checking out the Fredericksburg, VA area for a little while it looks like.

Hi,

You might want to upgrade to the Pinella remote system.
