- fj12ryderExplorer IIIShould be some screws on the underside of the antenna. Ours came apart in two pieces and there was a collar to remove to get the antenna off the shaft. But YA(ntenna)MV.
- joeshmoeExplorerDidn't want to have to remove the metal post. It isn't really necessary to fit the panel, but I think I will remove it now. I'll have that much more room.
I just figured the less I have to deal with, the better.
Thanks - SoonDockinExplorer III just took mine off. 4 screws, tape and stuff the wires back in the hole then cover with eternabond tape then dicore. I thought about putting a piece of metal over the hole but didn't bother. Once a panel is over it, eternabond is plenty IMO.
- MFLNomad IIMany have a set screw under the dish, in the area where the dish contacts the stem. It is not visible in the picture though?
Jerry - wa8yxmExplorer III4 Screws covered in putty and everything post, dish and all, comes off.
