Hydralic leveler won't go down

What brand/model is your leveling system?

spring return or power down power up

most likely problem, the valve for jack is NOT opening

could be a bad relay in the control, bad control board, or bad hydraulic valve/coil

manually 'forcing it down', either spring tension or internal vacuum is going to pull it back up
it needs hyd pressure to hold it down

I think he means jack will extend in the down position but will not stay that way.

If that is the case, my two front Jacks or levelers did the same thing and I had to get them repacked.

We used a bottle jack to push it down while the switch was on. Once down it stayed down. It went up as soon as the switch was pushed.

Well, State what brand and model jack system you have. What you posted makes NO SENSE. What switch? Doug
