Installing 3 step folding step on TT

I forgot to put the step up when backing under my metal awning and hit the metal post. I have it pulled back into place so I can use it but it is hard to fold up and push back under TT. My question is how hard is it to take the old steps out and replace with 27 " half wide
steps. I use to be handy with any type of job but now that I will be 80 I find it harder and hardy to get down and crawl under RV, Autos etc. I know I can take it in to have it replaced but I don't care to
pay someone if it is not to hard to take the old one off and new one in its place. I do have a welder if I have to use it

Dunno about yours, but mine was easy. My TT had 2-12 inch steps and was a bit of a pain to carry heavy things up and down because of the step height, so I replaced with a 3-8" step unit. Four bolts off, four bolts on, done. Job would be easy if you have or can borrow/rent a floor jack and a socket wrench.

I have floor jack and all kind of tools but just wondered if the holes will line up etc on the new steps
