Is AC fan speed on auto adjustable?
Can the fan speed be changed to always run on high when the fan mode is set to auto?

With the always on, even when the thermostat turns off the compressor, the fan keeps going. - Simple answer--Maybe. If you want HI fan continous, then you have to use Hi Fan/Cool. List your system and wall tstat. Some systems, the Fan will always run on either Hi or Lo(selected speed by user) in cool mode and shuts both the Fan and Compressor off when temp is reached. Some will cycle thru the Fan speeds (hi/med/Lo or Hi/lo) when on Auto cool. It depends on the system. Doug
- Might also want to make sure filters and coils are clean.
- Check your freeze sensors first. They should be positioned right in where the ice is forming. Access by removing the interior trim. Either way the condensate will flow off the roof unless you have some type of other drain that is plugged.
You may need to post exactly what thermostat brand and model you have. The Dometic units should be switching the high fan when the interior is 4+ degrees higher than the set point. - A/C icing is usually an indication of low refrigerant.
