I have a Keystone Bullet trailer with an Atwood Furnace, model 8531 IV DCLP L/D. It is located and only accessible from inside, beneath the refrigerator. Can anyone provide details on how to remove the furnace so it can be checked out? All other gas appliances work. Trailer hooked up to AC. AC comes on. Furnace blower comes on. Unit has single spark 3 times, then shuts off. Keystone offers no assistance providing removal info.
I have one similar to this and mine comes out the outsie access door. If you look carefully you will see it must be lifted up and out. You (obviously) must disconnect the gas line and it can be bent out of the way. Mine has a couple of screws put in at an angle that is supposed to hold the furnace in place.
Mine sits on two pieces of drywall sitting on edge...a terrible way to do it but cheap and heat resistant.
If you can say what is wrong I might be able to give you an idea what you can do to fix it. You can trouble shoot this guy yourself. Do you still have the installation manual for it? You might not have to take it out.
I have to take mine out and redesign it's mounting and get it squarely over the opening for the ducting.
You do not understand. This particular model has NO OUTSIDE door. It is installed from the inside and must be pulled for any service work or diagnosis. Doug
