KZ 19bhs Roof

Question

Hello All,
I am new to the RV world , last Oct. I putchased a 2016 KZ Sportsman 19BHS. I camp alone and for me the size and price were a goos fit. My only question is the roof. Its aluminum, and when I went to cover it for the winter last year it felt like there was no plywood under the metal. I sent an email to kz with no response as of yet.Just wondering if anyone has one of these campers and would share your experiences with it

Welcome to the forums!There's nothing but air under our roofs - whatever you do, don't try to walk around up there. Also makes installing solar pretty much a non option, there's nothing to anchor or support heavy glass panels. There's some bracing around the AC unit, as well as the front and rear, and that's pretty much it.Some call it a "non walkable roof"

Thanks gor your reply ,you also have a kz 19bhs i assume ? Have you had any problems with this camper so far mine has been great but like i said i haven't had it a year yet.

I have a classic 200... Came close to buying a 19-something but the 200 had a floorplan that worked better for my travels.

No complaints about my KZ. I've logged nearly 50K miles and it's still in one piece.
