No RV experience here. With all that 12V power running around, is it not simple to splice in a 12V jack in any of many locations?
In my B&M home, I can't see myself pointing at any bare space of sheet rock and concluding I couldn't "splice" in or add an additional receptacle.

You have to be careful. Most circuits are fused close to what their greatest legitimate draw should be. A TV could be more than the circuit can handle. If you up the fuse to handle the addition of the TV, you lose the protection for the smaller circuit. Also, you don't know how robust the wires on the circuit are and could overload them. Not likely to happen, but it might.
