That's ridiculous "logic".
Fact is that I am a trained and experienced Electronics Engineering Technician and have been for close to 50 years.
The second fact is: Any healthy automotive battery that is near to fully charged can survive just fine for 3 week with no external charging ......if disconnected.
A reasonable supposition is: That it would survive just fine for 3 weeks if NOT disconnected. If that were not the case, millions of cars would have their batteries go bad every day, many of them on dealers lots, where they sit unused for 3 weeks or more. There are a lot of vehicles around that don't get used every day.
