Hi everyone,
I'm new to all this but for the most part I'm mechanically inclined its electrical that loses me.
So I have a magnetek powerplus6300A model 6345 45amp that needs to be replaced. I would also like to up grade it to possibly a 55amp. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thnx,
Maria

yes mainly because even the best magnetek put out a maximum 12amps to the battery, and most models only do 3 amps some do 5amps.

All the older RV's eventually have to replace the Magnetek converters and there are plenty of Youtube videos to choose from. Whether your using 45 or 55 amps the procedure s/b the same. It's an easy upgrade and well worth the money.

I would contact these people:
Best converter
I like the Progressive Dynamics products.
Remember you may have to upgrade wiring to the batteries if you increase the amperage of the converter.
