My take on a "Strongarm" stabilizer

I built these stabilizers for my Wildwood. The adjusters are tractor top link adjustors that I had left over from a different project. The rest is scrap metal that I had laying around. I built a second one that handles the front back movement also. I think the adjusters cost me $15 or $17 apiece a year or so ago, the rest was "free".

They just slip over the 5/8" "pegs" and I can add some tension or compression by a couple of turns of the adjustors.

Removed for travel.

  • Nice work! Been thinking about trying my hand at making some, have plenty of spare time and like to tinker.

Might want to place this thread in the DYI section.
