New Air conditioner thoughts

Thinking of replacing my Carrier Non ducted 15,000 btu air with a ducted Atwood 15,000 btu(18,000 btu???) The ducting is in place, last time I replaced air was about 12 years ago and decided the non ducted was easier at that time. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the Atwood product. With this motorhome, I've had Coleman and Carrier with no complaints. Thanks for any thoughts....Oh I may move Carrier to a third Air position...it still functions.

My front Carrier was a Heat pump model which I used maybe 3-4 times. I do a lot of travel in the summer months(mostly warm to hot) and then on those cool occasion's, the electric space heater's work quickly enough. As far as the heat pump goes on the Atwood, I could do without it but it seems you get no choice in the 15,000 BTU unit.

I replaced a 13,000 BTU unit with the 15,000 atwood unit (my independent RV meck says actually it is closer to 18,000). Cools the front of our coach very well for the first time ever. Moore air, colder etc. I love it for that. The heat pump on mune is a waste of time and money. Not sure if it the unit or installation. I've talked to Atwood engineers and am led to be leave it is the unit. It will heat air at outlet to about 100-110 DEGREES then shut off. Will continue to cycle but will not run long enough to raise the temperature even when outside temp is 50 or 50 plus degrees. Also book says it does not produce heat if outside temp is about 45 degrees. On mine about is about 50 degrees. The engineer told me there were little tweets they could do to help it heat but my mech has not called them yet.
