I checked my Norcold's propane gas fired flame, and found it to be the beautiful blue flame color, however, it has an red/orange dot in the center of it. Is this a problem that I need to address?...

You need to disassemble burner and clean.......replace if burner slots are distorted/misshaped/falling in.
Flame should be strong steady and blue....no orange
