I have the 5500 Marquis mounted in a 2005 Fleetwood.I had the leak problem last year while on the road.We had stopped on side of road for lunch.Wife wanted to use microwave.No problem start Genny for whatever reason I tke a walk outside around MH and notice a drip in Gen. area.My investigation led me to the precise part the OP shoews in first pic.Found a authorized dealer in Reno,he told me there was a recall out on that part.To me it should have had a high priority,what would have happened if I would have set up for the night and had the Gen running for hours.Certainly a high fire hazard
